This one is special as it was my first editorial illustration for Traveler magazine.
The piece was called “Destino ilustrado” (illustrated destination): a travel piece written an illustrated by a different guest artist each month. My article narrated my first hiking experience with friends to Lac Blanc, in Chamonix (France), which was quite an achievement for me given that I suffer from vertigo… :)
The collaboration meant a lot to me, not only because since then I’ve become a regular contributor for the magazine, but also I got to be both illustrator and journalist, which is what I majored in at university.
